Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens
About
Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens spans hundreds of acres of coastal forest in Boothbay, making it the largest botanical garden in New England. Themed garden areas โ including a Kitchen Garden, Rhododendron Garden, Rose Garden, and Fairy House Village โ are woven through naturalistic woodland trails that connect cultivation with the wild landscape beyond. Large-scale sculptures and public art installations are integrated throughout the grounds. The Bibby and Harold Alfond Children's Garden provides a dedicated play and discovery environment for young visitors. The gardens are open seasonally, typically May through October.
