Fernbank Museum of Natural History sits at the edge of Fernbank Forest — one of the largest remaining old-growth urban forests in the eastern United States — in the heart of Atlanta, Georgia. The museum brings together stunning natural science exhibits, a Giant Screen Theater, and extensive educational programs in a landmark building designed by Graham Gund. The museum's signature display is the Giants of the Mesozoic hall, featuring full-scale dinosaur models including Argentinosaurus — the largest dinosaur ever discovered — and Giganotosaurus. The Spectrum of the Senses, WildWoods, and A Walk Through Time in Georgia exhibits engage visitors with the region's natural and geological history through interactive displays and multimedia experiences.
