Montshire Museum of Science
About
The Montshire Museum of Science has served as a community science center since 1976, welcoming visitors to explore science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and the arts through direct, hands-on engagement. Exhibits fill 45,000 square feet of indoor space, and the 110-acre campus along the Connecticut River provides extensive outdoor learning environments including forest trails. The museum is unusually strong in its programming for homeschool families, offering multi-week workshops in earth science, ecology, and botany for children ages 6โ15, alongside daily drop-in science activities open to all visitors.
