About

Technocopia is a non-profit makerspace in downtown Worcester dedicated to nurturing creativity and community through shared access to tools, skills, and collaborative making. The 10,000+ sq. ft. facility includes a wood shop, metal shop, 3D and resin printing station, electronics workbench, textile studio, stained glass workshop, screen printing studio, CNC shop, and laser lab. Membership unlocks supervised access to equipment and tool training, while free weekly open-house events and public clubs welcome the broader community at no cost. Technocopia's philosophy centers on communal ownership and teaching open-source practices for sustainable, cross-disciplinary making. The organization actively partners with local nonprofits, provides financial aid for access, and runs public workshops and tabling events to extend its mission of accessible making to all.
