Discovery Museum
About
Discovery Museum operates on the straightforward conviction that play is how kids learn. Three floors of indoor STEAM exhibits give children opportunities to explore science, engineering, and creative thinking through direct manipulation and experimentation. Outside, the Discovery Woods nature playscape and accessible treehouse extend the learning into the natural environment. The campus borders 180 acres of conservation land, making it an unusually green setting for a children's museum. The museum serves families in the greater Acton area and makes regular use of its natural surroundings as a learning context.
