Mystic Seaport Museum invites visitors to find their sea story across a recreated 19th-century seafaring village on the Mystic River. The grounds include fully rigged historic vessels — among them the last remaining wooden whaling ship in America — alongside period buildings, craftspeople demonstrating traditional maritime trades, and interactive exhibits on seafaring life and ocean science.
