ECHO, Leahy Center for Lake Champlain
About
ECHO, Leahy Center for Lake Champlain sits on the Burlington waterfront and uses Lake Champlain's extraordinary ecosystem as its animating subject, exploring the connections between water, wildlife, people, and climate across more than 150 interactive exhibits. Living lake animals are integrated throughout the museum, giving visitors direct encounters with the species that define the Champlain basin. The institution's educational programming reaches both drop-in family visitors and organized school groups, and its summer camps extend the learning across the season. ECHO's ASTC Passport membership connects Vermont families to reciprocal access at 325+ science and nature institutions nationwide.
